Guitars & Keyboards in Worship

“Sing to the Lord a new song!”: Songs are vital - for uniting the church, building up the body and glorifying God. But often we struggle to find songs which are accessible to our congregations, or cover specific topics. RESOUNDworship.org is on the cutting edge of writing and sharing new material which is Biblical, Content Driven, Inclusive, Honed and Contemporary. They have a passion to help others write and choose God-honouring, worship-inspiring songs.

MWF and RESOUNDworship.org present two events in one:

Writing Songs For Worship
For Songwriters wanting to hone their craft of producing material for the local church. Will include input on:
• Theology - Why write new songs?
• Critique - What makes a great worship song?
• Skills - Writing lyrics, writing melodies and chords
Plus opportunity for some people to share their material for group critique and encouragement.

Choosing Songs For Worship
For anyone who wants to find and introduce a breadth of new material. Including:
• Where to find a wide variety of new songs/hymns
• Choosing and assessing repertoire
• Putting together a set of songs from a variety of sources for worship
Plus practical skills on how to teach and introduce new songs for a congregation, and a time of worship and prayer.
